For those of you that don't know me. I am Asteroth (Aster for short) and I am a Fantasy Writer, focused on Prose, Backstories and Lore!I've worked in several formats such as Novella's, Graphic Novels, Video Games + More. I've been writing stories for most of my life and have over 5+ years of professional experience in it. Terms Of Service.
Terms of Service for DisAsteroth's Writing Services~✦ Prices listed are the base prices and may be adjusted depending on the nature and or content of the request.✦ I reserve the right to accept and decline commissions I choose. including those not explicitly stated within TOS, without the need to disclose why.✦ I reserve the right to add commissioned works to my portfolio. However please message me should you wish to come to an alternate arrangement.✦ You must credit me using my handle @DisAsteroth whenever using or posting my work.✦ Estimated time for completed commission is around 1-4 weeks, this includes time for consultation, First Drafts and revisions. however, it may extend past this period due to various factors such as the length of the piece or other external factors. This will be communicated between the Writer and the Commissioner. Rush Orders can be made available at 25%+ the total commission price.✦ All Writing commissions will be received in the form of a PDF and will not be editable under any circumstances. This is non-negotiable.✦ Refunds and Chargebacks are against TOS and will not be accepted. If a refund is to occur, it must have been discussed prior between the Writer and Commissioner and agreed upon only before the first draft of work has been completed. A refund after the first draft will not be allowed.✦ I do not accept my work being used in AI, NFTs, Blockchains or any type of cryptocurrency exchange under any circumstances.✦ Full Payment must be completed within 1 week of receiving the invoice. You will be notified when invoices have been sent. If the week passes and no payment nor communication has been given. The commission will be cancelled.
Non-Commercial & Commercial Works.
✦ All commissioned works, unless specified and discussed otherwise are considered non-commercial and can only be used on: Social media and Personal websites. If there are other places they wish to use the commissioned piece/s they must discuss this with me first.✦ The Commissioner does not have the right to transfer, sell or redistribute my work. Nor do they have the right to directly modify, expand or change my work in any way under a non-commercial license. With a commercial license, Commissioners may be allowed to do so with discussion and express permission given. If permission is not given modifications are NOT allowed.✦ All versions of the commissions throughout and after the process remain the intellectual property of the writer.
Termination, Refunds & Cancellations.
✦ Should the commissioner need to cancel a commission, this can be done by messaging me through our initial communication platform. A refund may be provided depending on these circumstances:✦ If a commission is terminated before any work has begun such as the consultation. No monetary exchange will have occurred at this time, thus no refunds will be needed or offered. However, if this commission has progressed past only the consultation stage and payment has been sent, a fee of 20$ to cover the consultation will be incurred and the rest will be refunded.✦ if a commission is terminated after commission Consultation and breakdown have been sent the commissioner will be refunded 50% of the payment paid. This includes any commission that is under NDA, Commercial Licensing and Rush Fee.✦ If a commission is terminated after the first draft has been received. The client will not be refunded under any circumstances.✦ Any violation of the Terms of Service will result in the termination of your commission. No refunds will be provided under any circumstances and Writer reserves the right to block/disconnect all communications with the client.
Short Story Pricing.

Starting Price for Short Stories is 75$
+50% for every additional 500 words thereafter.- Short stories are a maximum of 500 words.- Short stories have a 3 week turnaround including: Consultation, narrative breakdown, first draft, 2 revisions and delivery. This may change depending on the contents you've ordered and if it is rush delivery.- All short stories will be received in the form of a PDF. This is non-negotiable.
Add-OnsPrivacy/NDA Fee = 5% of total cost
Commercial Licensing Fee = 50% of short story pricing.
Rush Fee = 5% of total cost (10 day turnaround*)*If a piece is needed sooner, this can be discussed and may incur a higher percentage/fee.
Lore/Backstory Writing Prices.
All pricing will be in USD
Starting Price for Lore/Backstory writing is 119$
+50% for every additional 500 words thereafter.- Lore/Backstory Docs are a maximum of 700 words not including a character breakdown. This is for Shorter condensed backstories- Deep Lore/Backstory Docs are a minimum of 1500 words including: 3 pages of lore, with a character breakdown/profile section.
Starting Price for Deep Lore is 255$- All Lore/Backstory have a 4 week turnaround including: Consultation, narrative breakdown, Character breakdown, first draft, 2 revisions and delivery. This may change depending on the contents you've ordered and if it is rush delivery.- This service includes the price of commercial rights.- All Lore/Backstory documents will be received in the form of a PDF. This is non-negotiable.
